Shopping Ads Overview

Research Grid Shopping Ads provides a quick way to discover keyword opportunities from Google product ads found in the Research Grid.

Shopping Ads Use Cases

  1. Discover keywords that a domain is present in Shopping Ads along with the ad features. 

Shopping Ads



Inputs
Domain: Enter a domain to search Google product ads that domain is bidding on. 
Location: Select a country to view corresponding Ads data from Research Grid.
Device: Select a device, desktop or mobile, to view corresponding Ads data from Research Grid.
Date Range: Select a month to view when corresponding Ads data was present in Research Grid.


Shopping Ads charts
Ads: This displays the count of times the searched brand appears, exactly as it is, in Google Maps local pack and the count of occurrences where the searched brand occurs overall.
Total Search Volume: This displays the average rank within the Google Maps local pack for the searched brand.
Rankings by Position: This displays the count of unique brands found in the Google Maps local pack competing with the searched brand.  


Shopping Ads table
Keyword: This displays the keywords that have the Google Shopping Ads SERP feature where the searched domain is present. 
Search Volume: This displays the average monthly search volume for the corresponding keyword.
Product Name/URL: This displays the product name and URL for the shopping ad.
Price: The listed price for the product from the shopping ad.
Ad PositionThe position of the searched domain within the shopping ad feature.
Star Rating: This displays the star rating shown in the shopping ad for that product. 
Review Count: This displays the count of reviews listed for the product displayed in the shopping ad.
Listing Feature: This displays the features displayed for the shopping ad including displays for: Sale, Curbside, and Pickup.

Shopping Ads filters
Listing Feature: Filter for shopping ads with specific features: Sale, Curbside, or Pickup.
URL: Filter for the URL displayed in the shopping ad. 
Ad Position: Filter for ads found in a specific position within the Shopping Ads display.
Content Type: Filter for content types based on created URL pattern matching.
