Split Tester Overview
Split Tester enables the dynamic optimization of content in any web page. It can be used to replace or update content in the HTML of the page for a given location.
Background & Requirements
Once this feature is enabled for an account, specific JavaScript code is provided and will need to be installed on each site instance (including both a QA and live environment). The JavaScript can be installed inside the HTML page itself and triggered by a call or it can be installed as a separate page and is called from the HTML page by providing the path in the script tag. Once the JS is installed, Approved Publisher access is required to publish changes or updates to a webpage.
Split Tester Use Cases
- Implement critical fixes for on-page content
- Deploy new enhancements for pages
- Enable testing to validate decision making
- And many, many more can be found in our Clarity Automate Playbook
