Schema Optimizer Overview

Schema Optimizer enables the the ability to add multiple schema types to any set pages across a site.

Background & Requirements

Once this feature is enabled for an account, specific Javascript code is provided and will need to be installed on each site instance (including both a QA and live environment). The Javascript code can be installed inside the HTML page itself and triggered by a call or it can be installed as a separate page and is called from the HTML page by providing the path in the script tag. Once the JS is installed, admin access is required to publish changes or updates to a webpage.

Schema Optimizer Table columns      
Pattern: Displays the type of pattern matching to be used for the URLs specified in this Schema implementation.
Note: Displays the associated description note for the schema implementation. 
QA PublicationSelect the Unpublish button to remove any published updates from the QA environment or select the Publish button to publish updates to the QA environment for the pages specified. 
Live Publication Select the Unpublish button to remove any published updates from the live environment or select the Publish button to publish updates to the live environment for the pages specified.
Status: Displays the options for Push to QA and Push to Prod with highlighting to indicate the status of where this has been updated. 

Schema Optimizer Filters & Table actions
Publication Status: Filter for the status of the optimization with options for All, Live, QA, Unpublished. 
Pattern: Filter for the pattern itself with options for: Is, Isn't, Contains, Does Not Contain, Starts With, Ends With, RegExp, RegExp Not Match.
Note: Filter for notes containing specific text.
Actions
Edit: Select this button to edit an existing Schema implementation.
Delete: Select this button to remove this Schema implementation from Schema Optimizer. 

How to Add Schema
Select the + Add Schema button to open a side panel with the options listed below allowing for URLs to be added to Schema Optimizer:


URLs to Match: Enter the URL or URLs that will be added to Schema Optimizer for changes to be made. 
Custom variables: Select specify variables to Input the Variable Name and Location for the Schema to be added with options for individual pairs or bulk additions.
Note: Include a brief description note about the changes to be made. 
Paste the Json: Input the full JSON-LD for the schema to be added.
Save: Select this button to add the optimizations for the selected URLs to Schema Optimizer.
Show Details: Select this button to see a preview of the JSON code
