SERP Features Overview
SERP Features shows how your site is performing for various search features such as Featured Snippets, People Also Ask, Image results and more. SERP Features play a larger role in True Rank than Web Rank, learn more about these rank types. Watch this brief video for an overview of SERP Features:

Background & Requirements for SERP Features
Keywords need to be tracked for SERP Features data to be available. Filtering for a specific SERP feature will only display managed keywords where that feature was found present on the SERP for the date range selected.
SERP Features

Domain: Search a domain to view SERP Feature data for that domain based on the managed keyword set. Results will also be displayed if a sub-folder is specified in the search domain URL.
Date: Select a specific date based on the day, week or month that will show SERP data for that date selected. The dropdown will allow for further date customizations.
SERP Feature Charts
SERP Features: This displays the number of unique managed keywords found with that SERP features and the number of unique keywords the searched domain is present in that feature.
Trend: This displays a trend count of unique managed keywords and the SERP features found for them.
Your Share: Your domain's share for each SERP feature based on managed keywords.
SERP Features table
This displays managed keywords and if they were found with that SERP feature. Where available, SERP Features will display the rank position they were found at. Click on the "Table" icon to select which metrics display in the table.
Select the By Date table to view a trend for a selected SERP feature.

When viewing the data table 'by date', selecting the percent option displays the percent value of the managed keywords that triggered the SERP Feature divided by total managed keywords.
Keyword: Displays the managed keywords that appear for each type of Universal Ranking Position
Average Search Volume: Displays the previous 12 months average search volume from Google for the keyword
AI Overview: Displays whether or not the initial AI overview feature from the Top Insights view is found on the search results page. This is not the main feed AI Overviews. When selected the ability to search within the AI Overview Content or for the Citations becomes available.
Answer Box: Displays an X if the keyword does not trigger an Answer Box and a check mark if it does.
Buying Guide: Displays an X if the keyword does not trigger a Buying Guide result and a check mark if it does.
Discussions and Forums: This is a SERP feature that is part of Google's "hidden gems" initiative to surface more content from the experiences and opinions of real people, as expressed in public forums like Reddit and Quora. Displays
FAQ: Displays an X if the keyword does not trigger a FAQ result and a check mark if it does.
Free Product Listings: Displays an X if the keyword does not activate a Free Product Listing and a check mark if it does.
Job Pack: Displays an X if the keyword does not trigger Google's job listings based on the (3 pack) results.
Knowledge Graph: Displays an X if the keyword does not trigger a knowledge graph and a check mark if it does.
People Also Ask: Displays an X if the keyword does not activate a People Also Ask and a check mark if it does.
PPC: Displays an X if the keyword does not trigger Google's pay per-click Ads and a check mark if it does.
Products: Displays an X if the keyword does not trigger Google's organic product carousel.
Things To Know: This is a categorized Featured Snippets list for the various micro-intents people have when searching for items of interest. Great source of content ideas, either for adding missing information to your existing content or for creating new pages to cover each intent displayed.
Comparison Rank: Displays the rank of the Comparison feature for the keyword if present.
Image Rank: Displays the rank of the first image or image pack found for that keyword.
Local Listing Rank: Displays the rank of the Local pack for the keyword if present; options for exact or broad match.
Hotel Rank: Displays the rank of the Hotel pack for the keyword if present.
News Rank: Displays the rank of the News pack for the keyword if present.
Recipe Rank: Displays the rank of the Recipe feature for the keyword if present.
Salary Estimate Rank: Displays the rank of the Salary Estimate feature for the keyword if present.
Video Rank: Displays the rank of the Video pack for the keyword if present.
SERP Feature Filters
Search Engine: Select the search engine (and device) to view rankings based on.
Location: Select the location to view rankings based on. By default this is set to the primary location of the domain. Geo Locations can be enabled via settings and can incur billing updates.
Search Intent: Search Intent helps segment data by the underlying intent. This is most commonly used for Brand and Non-Brand analysis. Simply specify the patterns to match and the data is segmented on the fly immediately.
Search Volume: Select the search volume range to be viewed with options for Equals, Greater Than, Less Than and Between.
Keyword: Select the type of keyword to be viewed with options for Is, Isn't, Contains, Doesn't Contain, Starts With, Ends With, and Regular Expression.
Ignore Deleted Keywords: Select this option to exclude keywords that have been deleted. Keywords that have been deleted will still be present in data tables for dates where data is present.
SERP Features: filtered
Selecting a SERP Features filter will display the managed keywords where that type of result is present in the SERP. By default the filter list will be sorted by the most frequently occurring features.
AI Overview: Displays AI-generated summary that answers the user's search query. It pulls key information from multiple sources to provide a concise explanation right at the top of the results. Users can also expand the section for more details or explore linked sources for further reading.
You can filter results based on Citations or Content. Citations show the source links, similar to traditional SERP features. Content lets you search within the actual AI-generated summary, which may include insights not directly quoted from the cited sources.
Answer Box: Displays the total number of managed keywords that have an Answer Box in the SERP. Example:
App (Mobile only): Based on the App ID Setting for your Own Domain, this displays where your App ranks versus the number of results that have App results.
AMP (Mobile only): Displays the total number of your share of Accelerated Mobile Pages (
AMP) keywords vs. overall total. You can compare the Total Ranking Keywords your Top Competitors are ranking for.
Discussions and forums: You may want to explore ways to get more mentions in these forums. You also might want to consider building user forums on your site and incentivizing your customers to post there. While known forums like Reddit dominate this feature, it is possible for forums form other sites to show.
FAQ: Displays the total number of managed keywords that have FAQ results in the SERP. Example:
Free Product Listings: Displays the number of managed keywords that have a Free Product Listing result in the SERP. Example:

Job Pack: Displays the number of managed keywords that have a Job Pack or Local 3 Pack Listing result in the SERP based on which setting is enabled. Example:
Knowledge Graph: Displays the number of managed keywords that have a Knowledge Graph result in the SERP. Example:
Local Listings: Displays the number of managed keywords that have a Local pack. Example:
News: Displays the number of managed keywords that have a News results in the SERP. Example:
People Also Ask: Displays the number of managed keywords that bring up People Also Ask results in the SERP. Example:
Products: Displays the number of managed keywords that appear in Google's organic product carousel. The Top Rankings chart will display a trended comparison of the individual Brands and their rank position within the Products carousel, whereas the Products Performance chart will display a trended summary of the Brands ranking data by position (1, 2, 3, Other) within the Products carousel. Example:
Shopping (Ads): Displays the total number of managed keywords that have Shopping (Ads) results in the SERP. Example:

Short Videos - mobile: Displays the total number of managed keywords that have Short Videos results in the SERP. Only appears in Google mobile search engine. Example:

Recipe: Displays recipes in a grid with images, user ratings, time to make, and an extract of the ingredients, making it easier for searchers to find the recipes that appeal to them.
