How can I view the SERP for a Managed Keyword and how far back does it go?

Managed keywords tracked in the platform, like those seen in
Rank Intelligence, have the option to view the search engine results page (SERP) for previous days where rank tracking occurred. This can be done by selecting either the SERP Preview icon when hovering over that keyword or via the keyword detail dropdown in that row as seen below.
For accounts with daily tracking, the SERP Preview is available for the last 60 days and weekly beyond 60 days for the last year. For accounts without daily tracking, it is available weekly for the last year.

Once SERP Preview is selected another tab will open in your browser and display the SERP as it was seen when it was rank checked for the selected search engine. The date can be adjusted for that keyword from this view.

Inconsistent Paid Ads in the SERP
Paid ads are heavily influenced by time of day, geo targeting and even quality scores and budgets. In order to get the most accurate organic search data we make sure every request is randomized over millions of IPs, appear to come from a national level instead of a specific city, and seem like a new user each time. Also, the specific time that a keyword is rank checked may differ day to day.
In our testing we also find that Google will hide the paid ads if we don't click any ads for more than 4 searches. Clients can try on an incognito window, type in 5 separate keywords they know have ads and after the 5th search ads disappear. This is not just the case for us but for everyone that crawls organic searches on Google.
We have a separate rank checking process for paid ads specifically that implements different logic - such as gets the first page of results only but this counts as a separate rank check and a separate engine.
