What is Share of Visibility?

Share of Visibility is a percentage metric, found in the Visibility Share feature, representing the relative organic visibility of a web ranking result, that is calculated based on the pixel depth weighted by the first fold opportunity. The higher the percentage, the more visible a ranking is on the SERP. A Share of Visibility of 100% means the ranking position is at the top of the page with nothing above it. This is the best metric for comparison between keywords with competitors. Appearance in SERP Features, like local results or otherwise, are not included in this.
