What are Competitor Groups?

Competitor Groups are a function of the Top Competitors report that allow domains to be manually grouped together for the purpose of viewing performance for that collection of domains. Competitor domains can only belong to one competitor group at a time and up to 30 competitors can be placed in a single competitor group. Historical data will update according to the domains currently in the group and does not require backprocessing.

Competitor Groups can be created via the Actions dropdown on the Top Competitors page (pictured below):

Once a Competitor Group is created, selecting the Competitor Group option from the Competitor Type filter will display a summary of data for those domains via that Competitor Group in the chart and table. Filtering the Top Ranking Domains column by "#" will filter for Competitor Groups that are setup.

Selecting that group from the table will display a side panel listing the domains that are part of that group and the corresponding data for that domain.
