Domain/URL Backlinks

Domain/URL Backlinks

Backlinks explorer makes finding links to a domain easy and allows for unique views with numerous filtering capabilities. Backlink data for your own domain and universal competitors is retrieved from Majestic utilizing the greatest exportable amount of 50,000 and is updated on a weekly basis.

Backlinks video overview:

Background & Requirements

Each week the top 50,000 backlinks are retrieved and de-duped against the existing list for your own domain and universal competitors. Other searches for Ad hoc domains or URLs will be retrieved by request and this data retrieval process can take up to 30 minutes. Ad hoc searches that have previously been retrieved will display a last refreshed date with the ability to update to retrieve the latest data.

To see backlink data, search for a domain or URL to view specific information for that entity. Any search without filters applied will result in displaying the full summary of data from Majestic in the charts. This differs from the data table which displays the 50,000+ backlinks retrieved each week. Once a filter is applied, except for the date range, the charts will summarize based on the details seen in the table.

  1. Identify spammy or low-quality backlinks that could lead to site penalties
