Overview
In some platform features as noted in their corresponding knowledge base articles, you will see a sentence similar to "Data will be available in the platform in 24 - 48 hours." The objective of this document is to answer the question of why it takes 24 - 48 hours after an integration for your data to be displayed in the platform.
Integration
Our platform is able to bring in data from any analytics suite that you are currently using. View our Integration section in the Knowledge Base for our most common integrations.
The integration step is just the first of many steps that is taken for data to be displayed in your seoClarity account. After walking through any of the integration processes, the analytics suite you are using needs to have confirmation or authentication from you that you want to export the data. Once there is confirmation, that platform starts to collect and format the necessary data.
The last necessary step that the platform you have integrated with is to take is to send the file to your email address or an email address that was created for the sole purpose of receiving these data extracts.
Processing
Once our team has received the first email with the correct file, it is our time to start processing the data.
The daily data processing hours are 12:00 am (CT) to 7:00 am (CT), but there are a couple things that need to be taken into consideration.
First thing to be aware of is when the file was sent and received. If the file was received after the times mentioned above or towards the tail end of those times, the data file that was sent will not be processed until the next day. There is one major reason why we give you a 24 - 48 hour time range. This typically occurs after the integration only.
Another thing to be aware of is the size of the file that is sent. Do you have a large site? If so, the chances of the file being large is high. The larger the file, the longer it takes for the data to be processed. The opposite is also true. If you have a smaller site you are more than likely to have a smaller file which will be processed quicker.
One thing to keep in mind is that we are doing this for all of our clients and all of our keywords every day.
Data Displaying in seoClarity
After all of the backend processing is done, the last step is displaying all of the data in the platform for you and your team. Displaying the data in the platform is still part of processing but it is the part that is most important to you because without it, charts and tables would be empty.
With this being part of the processing step, the size of the file still plays a major roll in how long it takes to complete the process. Our platform is done processing and the data will be displayed in the platform by 8:00 am (CT) everyday. If it is delayed, it is due to the amount of data in the file and it will be in shortly. Another reason your data might not be showing is that the file that is necessary for processing was not sent to us by the integrated platform.
