What is a Primary & Secondary Search Engine within Multi-Domain Widgets?

Throughout the platform, when selecting the search engine you wish to view data across via multi-domain widgets, you may see options such as Primary Engine, Primary Google Mobile, Google & Google Mobile. Depending on the provisioning of a profile, these options may have significant differences. The Primary Engine options will be the default search engines seen in Rank Intelligence for a domain profile. As an example, the Primary Engine could be Google Desktop, Google Mobile, Baidu Desktop, Baidu Mobile, etc.

In the instance that ONLY Google Desktop & Google Mobile are selected during provisioning, you will see Primary Google Desktop, Primary Google Mobile, Google & Google Mobile. In this instance, these search engines would be the same. It will be otherwise noted in the defining name of the search engine selection if Primary is set, for example, as with Baidu. The default or primary engine can be changed after the time of provisioning by request.
