Visibility Share Settings

Overview

The Visibility Share settings allows for customized percentages for fold visibility and fold rank.
When the default Visibility Share settings are updated, only the data going forward will be affected and the Visibility Share data cannot be back-processed.

Requirements

Keywords need to be added to the platform as managed elements for related data to be viewable. Visibility Share is available to eligible accounts as a paid upgrade. Data is based on the first search engine results page and is available on a weekly basis. Desktop fold is based on the screen size of 1024 x 768 and mobile fold is based on the screen size of an iPhone 10 (375 x 812).

An admin user will have access to the domain Settings > Visibility Share settings.


Fold Visibility 

Based on the screen resolution, the "fold" defines the visible area on the page before the user has to scroll down. Each full view in the scroll is defined as a separate "fold."
  1. Customize each fold visibility percent based on which fold a listing shows up in the SERP.
  2. This allows for assigning custom weighted percentages by fold.

Fold Rank

Fold rank defines the position within the visible area of a fold similar to a rank position.
  1. Customize each fold rank percent based on the position within the fold.
  2. This allows for assigning custom weighted percentages by position within the fold.
