Related URLs setting

Related URLs setting

The Related URLs setting allows us to roll up the performance metrics of one or more pages into another page. This is useful for instance when you redirect one page to another, such as in a site migration, and would like to see the trended performance of the page before and after the redirect.

NOTE: This setting should only be enabled if the URL structure has changed.

Impact on Managed Pages:
  1. If both new and old URLs exist as a managed page, the old URL will be removed and the new URL will be set as the 'parent URL' and remain managed.
  2.  If the new URL is not a managed page, it will be added into the platform; and the old URL will be changed to unmanaged
  3. If both the new AND old URL are not managed pages, the new URL will be added as a managed page and the old one will remain unmanaged.

Related URLs are located in Settings. They can be added by clicking on the blue "Add" button on the top right of the page, click on "Target URLs", and then click on "Related URLs."
